A maintenance worker is murdered at an inner city community center and there is no apparent motive.
[KELVIN BLAKE] (38) African-American. Outgoing. Charming. Muscular. Very likeable. Kelvin is a former gang member who turned his life around and is now a construction foreman. When Latino gang members try to car-jack his new Cadillac, he shoots a gun over their heads to scare them – and accidentally kills someone two blocks away.

[TOMMY MARTINEZ] (16) Latino. An honor student who is determined to get out of the neighborhood. He works at Savory Burger, where the shooting took place and is an eye witness to the car jacking but fears for his life if he reveals who the gang members are. GUEST STAR.
[ENRIQUE MARTINEZ] (20) A tough gang member of The 19th Street Destroyers. He is more of the leader. It was his idea to try to car-jack Kelvin’s Cadillac. GUEST STAR.
[ALONZO GARCIA] (18) Another member of the 19th Street Destroyers. Not as street smart as Enrique, and more of a follower. GUEST STAR.
[MRS. GRAY] (55) African American. She is the grieving mother of Reggie, the maintenance worker who is killed. She is heartsick, but angry and determined to make things better in her neighborhood. GUEST STAR.
[CROWD MEMBER #1] (35) Caucasian Male. New to the inner city neighborhood. Probably drives a Prius. CO STAR.
[CROWD MEMBER #2] (late 30s) Latina Female. Religious. Speaks with an accent.
